Possible glimpse into the Wisconsin Game

Next week Wisconsin plays Northern Illinois on the road. Their offense is somewhat similar to NU's. So, those saying they play a cupcake non-con are mostly correct, but Northern Illinois is no slouch whatsoever.

Last year doesn't carry over, (and they ARE a MAC team) I know, but last season they did beat Fresno in their bowl game 40-17, trounced OSU's previous opponent (Toledo) 65-30, and all of their 3 losses were on the road.

Though I do expect Wisconsin to handle them, I expect to see a "closer than the experts think" type game. Intriguing matchup, though, because I really want to see how they handle that style of offense.

If they can completely shut down NIU, then we may be in for a long day in Madison.

 
I'm actually watching a replay of the KU game. I think KU is looking much improved from last year, and the score makes it sound like it was a shootout that could have gone either way.

 
Let's try never comparing Nebraska to Northern Illinois again, we won't get a glimpse into the Wisconsin game until the game actually starts.
