I think it's bittersweet for just about any of the top 4-6 teams in the league, including those going to the championship game. The whole conference this year seems to be a bunch of teams that could have made an impressive run "if they only" didn't lose 2 games they were very capable of winning. It's been a somewhat bizarre season of "parity" across all the conferences (except the sec which only has 2 teams)... Which is just code for teams unable to seize the moment when they control their own destiny, IMO. Even though a championship will be great for whoever wins it, they'll watch Alabama and LSU play in the MNC with their season done and think about what could have been.
For Wisconsin, what would the season have been without 2 (so far) hail mary losses?
For MSU, what would have been if they could have not been flat for Nebraska and Notre Dame?
For Michigan, what would have been if they didn't try to square peg Robinson into an offense he didn't know and that ignored his really impressive strengths?
For Nebraska, what would have been with last year's secondary even with an offense that might not show up?
For Penn State, what would have happened with an offense?
For Illinois, what the hell happened after 6 strait wins to open the season?
