Yea, no doubt in my mind the best all around back ever Walter Payton. Most powerful back ever, Earl Campbell, and most agile back ever Barry Sanders. As far as the combination of both though, Walter Payton is the king.

EDIT: I had to include this video just to highlight Shearer's irascible nature on the pitch. The 0:47 mark is a pretty good example. Alan doesn';t appear intimidated in the least.
