i rewatched the game this morning and on the second drive for S. Miss, Gerry came VERY close to intercepting a pass when they were down on the 6 or 7. The ball split his hands and the receiver caught it.

i know this is a derailment, but he gets to hide behind his 'ceo-style' of coaching. can displace blame a little and might buy him some time. everyone else in america has realized for years that he is way overrated. has every advantage possible (and an obscene salary) and only has a couple big 12 championships and 1 mnc to show for it.
