Really like this guy, I was like most when he first got hired, "who?" "you've got to be kidding me!?" As I've seen more and more of him he's what the Huskers and Husker fans need. Someone to bring us back together, not drive a wedge farther and farther between the fan base and the team it supports. It'll take some time, but the "us vs. world" mentality should go out the window towards the fans.

Someone who looks at the fans as an asset rather than a liability/annoyance

Most coaches always say this. No coach would ever actually say "we're going to be average at a bunch of things"
But if you're average at a bunch of things can't you still be excellent in all areas?
