My son and I have been out a few times and haven't caught much.

Is anyone hearing of walleye being caught yet?

 
I have seen some reports of walleye being caught at Merritt and at Glen Elder in Kansas. I think it should start picking up here soon as spawning season is right around the corner. I have a buddy that is heading to Milford Lake this weekend and is going to try some walleye fishing.

I have been out 5 times in the last couple weeks and have caught anything.

 
Gonna head out Sunday afternoon and see if anything is hungry.

Heading to Milford in a couple weeks to see if I can hook a couple big Blues. They have been going crazy for a couple weeks now.

 
It melted off as the day warmed up. We also went to Lake Ogalalla and Southerland and didn't have any ice.

We didn't have the boat out yet though and I think the fish are still pretty deep.

 
Was doing fairly well on walleyes on the Missouri river up until last Friday.lots of keeper males and did see a 28 in female caught and released.all on Jig and minnow or swim baits from shore.

 
Slow day on the walleyes but did get one eater and some smallies and a whitey for dinner.the other is a shad of some sort.I'll feed him to some cat fish later.
