Power Football

They don’t have the horses to run it but I’ve been ready for years and COMPLETELY agree.

The first half of the Iowa game looked a lot like Coastal Carolina's offense, and we looked better than we have in years.  The second half was Frost panicking because Iowa fought back, and people revert to what they know when they panic.  Which, for Frost, is flinging it all over.

To me the winning recipe at Nebraska specifically is:

-run the ball better than anyone else in the nation

-play defense as well as anyone in the nation

-at least practice special teams

-throw the ball well enough to "get you out of trouble", to quote one of the greatest coaches in the history of the game.

All of this is 100% possible and shouldn't be controversial or far fetched to anyone with even a vague understanding of Nebraska's history and tradition.

I think what a lot of people try to argue is "being balanced is the best way to play offense, all things being equal".  Which is a silly argument because all thing's aren't equal and it's not likely we'll get an elite passer here anytime soon.
