PPV quality (or lack thereof)

Did anyone else notice how crappy that pay per view signal was? They must have compressed and recompressed the signal... or they were using video phones to broadcast the game.

I flipped from the USC v. ND game to the Huskers and it was just awful. I don't expect the coverage to be as high quality as network (announcers, camera angles, etc.) but the picture quality should be decent enough to separate the green shirts of the Baylor backs from the green of the turf.

 
I would call my cable or satellite provider and ask for my money back or at least half of my money back if the picture was that bad, thats happend to me before and I got 14 bucks credit on my account.

 
Yea, it was pretty bad at times. Anyone catch that they totally missed a play there in the second half? Awful.

Makes me seriously consider actually buying another one if FSN is doing it.

I thought it was the TV-but also noticed the quality difference when I watched the FSU-VA game on ESPN after that. You would think $30 would earn a better look than FSN gave. Oh well, atleast I wasn't paying for it!

 
i had a problem with the nebraska and tech game earlier this season... for about a quarter the screen was REAL fuzzy and you couldnt even hear the announcers over the static

 
I have problems with regular FSN. Never tried the PPV, but sometimes when i'm watching games the sound will be ahead of the picturel. Very disturbing. It also seemed that the time outs were extra long during the game, did that have anything to do with the game being on PPV?

I was wondering that too. It seemed like when that happened, we weren't at commercial.I don't know who they had orchestrating the game behind the scenes, but they weren't what you would call good.

 
Forget being good it was straight ridiculous. Baylor should be complaining about this too. I remember at one point when they seemed to have a little momentum and their crowd was sort of getting in to it and we had one of those long time outs and it just took the air out of their fans and we forced a punt.

 
Im gonna record the replay thats coming on FSN at 2:30 in the morning to see what the fuss is all about.

 
Well my DirecTV guide says 2:30 in the morning, which is about 7 hours from now, I probably wont stay up and watch it so I set my timer to record.

They might play it agian tomorrow at Noon but im not sure, I didnt check that far ahead.

 
I got the game too. Did anyone notice the announcers were not to accurate either. I remember they said Marlon Lucky was a good WR recruit. Also the Refs were not to hot either.
