One thing I've been wondering is if we practice too hard, we always seem to have a TON of injuries leading up to the spring game and there was a quote by Sean Payton that Callahan runs the closest thing to a pro practice he's seen at a college program. The fact is most college players don't come into winter conditioning or spring practice in top shape and unlike the pro's we don't have a large free agent pool to replace these guys with when they get hurt before the season starts. Is this something to look into or am I an idiot because practice is supposed to be this tough during spring?
