Prayer request.

My wife was at work last night. At around three a.m.her heart rate jumped to 180. This is double the normal rate. She was rushed to the er. They gave her IV meds to lower her heart rate with no result. They tryed a second drug IV and it failed as well. She went 10 hours with a doubled heart rate before they were able to sedate her enough to lower it.

She had extreme neck and chest pain because of the overload on her heart.

Tomorrow they are going to do an echo cardiogram to see if the extended time with the doubled heart rate did permanent damage. The doctor told me that it was a 50/50.

If the echo cardiogram shows no damage, they are going to take her off of the drug that finally lowered her heart rate. If it jumps back up they are going to have to convert her. Basically shock her heart to try to get it to go back to normal.

My wife is a dedicated mother and wife. She is all I could ever ask for in a partner. I love her dearly.

Please say a prayer for her as at 35 she has much to do yet in her life.

Thank you for reading.
