Pre-Season NFL Talk

Hey...it's been awhile since we posted here, but I just had to share what stat I saw on nfl.com's gamecenter from last night's games. Trevor Johnson, former Husker DE, playing for the Jets had 9 tackles with 2 interceptions for them last night! Quite a game Trevor, even if it is a pre-season game.

Just read that TJ Hollowell was waived from the Broncos injured/reserved list.

There were some Huskers that were released over the weekend. Eric Warfield was released from the Pats. It surprised me that DeJuan Groce was released by the Rams. If anyone has any news on Groce, it would be appreciated.

Some of these cuts may come down to politics and money. A team probally would rather pay less money to an inexperienced rookie or second year player than the veterean minimum who is going to be sitting on the bench.
