I was wondering about win totals. I still find myself not completely trusting this team, but I will try to drink a little Rhule-Aid. My Predictions:

UCLA W We won’t sleepwalk this year

Iowa L Coming off a road game at PSU, will make this game a tough one.

The games that may be toss-ups? Iowa, USC, Minnesota?

If we are to take the next step, we need to be at least 9-3. I still see us at 8-4.

Want to add a poll so we have the receipts? Not that I ever get around to checking these predictions after the season, but some people do.

I think I'm right here with you though - I could see us winning against Michigan with a true frosh QB and a lot of new defensive starters, but wouldn't bet on it (wish it was a night game). A little more hope against USC, I feel like Riley might be losing them. But they have more talent and could be very good. Night game at Penn State (is it a white out?) would take an unbelievable performance and some luck. Iowa is always beatable, but going from Saturday night at Penn State to an early Friday game is rough. That is the one projected L where we have an actual talent advantage, but that has been the case for a while and the results are what they are. My heart says we have a cathartic blowout victory where we just don't hand them the game, but my head won't buy that until I see it.

And we have proven over the years that we can lose to anyone, so the only W's I feel great about are Akron and HCU. But I feel pretty good about the rest of your W's too.
