Prediction Bowl

people who think K-State is an easy team forget that the "rat" is a great coach and we have had this knack of turning the ball over too much

Any game will be a "gut check" for this team. Between the expectations of the fan base and the overall goals of this team ... we will be playing in a fairly low bowl. Motivation/desire/want will be an issue. I can see a great possibility of tackling issues and lack of care of protecting the ball. I will view this team as an "underdog" in any bowl game unfortunately.

USA today has us playing LSU in the Outback bowl Jan 1st

Thanks for the post Nate!

Wow, I would love to see the Huskers against any $EC team. That would be all "boom or bust" for sure! We need to generate some momentum and pull off a big win and redeem ourselves a bit (well, a lot)!
I agree. If you are going to play in a bowl game, you want to play against a team that is "on par" or better than you for the season. I'd be fine with Texas or any SEC team, not K-state.

Agreed. People should post on their Facebook page, even if it may not do much good.

Big ten ESPN blog has NU going to the gator bowl. Mich to the BWW.....
Yup, and they are the only one who seems to have some insight (no pun intended) over the BWW's actual preference. Everyone else just assumes we get taken over Michigan, but they specifically say:

The biggest debate involves the Buffalo Wild Wings Bowl selection. From what we're hearing, that game favors Michigan over Nebraska. That could change, but we're going with it for now.
The next question is, does the Gator Bowl pick Georgia? And if so, do they take Minnesota over us to avoid a rematch, sending us to the Texas Bowl?

I want to see Nebraska to the BWW Bowl no matter the opponent for my own selfish reason. That way I don't have to get up and go to work the next day!
