Defense:

Tough to pick. I would say Grixby, but I believe he'll be a SP captain, so i go with McKeon over Ruud because McKeon seems to have more verbal presence. Tierre Green is another candidate who's a tremendous teammate I'm told. This is a prediction, not what I would vote for if I was a player, but a prediction.

Offense: Tough to pick but for different reasons. T. Nunn.

SP:

C. Grixby. he's such a great kid. Always working hard, always takes responsibility. Seems to have a real good head on his shoulders. This kid just bleeds charisma.

 
Offense: based on the reports, i would like to think Purify could handle it

Defense: McKeon (although to keep the "Nebraskan tradition" Ruud is a candidate)

SP: Grixby

I was just throwing his name out there as a possibility. Last I checked you could earn the "C" for being a hard worker, which according to the latest news reports he has been doing just that.

Just because this has been thrown out there does anyone think that Kellers incident might take away his chances?

All that aside, am I mistaken in thinking the players vote for the captains, or is it appointed by the coaches?

All of the other suggestions are good choices as well. I don't really think Keller hurt his chance at anything after his little "fling" haha.
