I also think the objective may not always be to score. We may not run the best play in a situation for two reasons:

1. We need to practice another play, and
   
2. There is no need to show our tendencies in this game
   

The only thing that can slow us down is lightning.

I hear your sentiment,  but this team we're playing is..... really bad.  We should be able to run the most vanilla stuff and have success all day.   I was just saying if that doesn't happen and they hang around,  that wouldn't be a good sign.   The spread is 36 but I honestly expect a 50 point win if we're as good as we all hope this year.

A lot of people will play tomorrow, because the depth chart has not undergone the scrutiny of game situations.
Martinez will put up Heisman like numbers against a bad team.

I would not bet to cover the spread. I expect to see a lot of back ups and 3rd stringers.
