Lis Brenden was unexpectedly relieved of her head coaching duties after 12 seasons during a meeting Friday afternoon with Silver Hawks’ athletic director Mark Armstrong. Brenden, the dean of girls basketball coaches among the six LPS schools, began her tenure when Southwest opened in 2002.

Rumors going around that some unhappy parents got this one done..ala Papio South canning a successful vb coach last year.

 
But my daughter should have been playing!! She's a turnover machine but only b/c she plays with such passion.

Parents can be the worse, especially when there is a spineless administrator that bends over to their every demand.
