i bought i think the national athlon mag and in the back it has all the bowl projections... couldnt find us at all until i reached the bottom.. had us in a BSC game (orange bowl) against Virginia Tech.... thought that was kinda cool considering predicting bowl games is like predicting the color of space alien nipples.......

also found it odd that a lot of the guys who made first team (crick and PA etc... were not given much love in the mag... neither was the husker profile in general)

also they had a list of TOp coaching jobs in the country

nebraska came in 17th!!! followed by texas and just behind Tennesuck WACK!!!

texas was number one followed up by the usually suspects like bama, usc, ohio state, florida etc.......

Jeez, I thought it was alright. I kinda expected the advertising. The section on the Devaney Era was pretty cool, but that was kinda one of reasons I bought it.

Its got some predicitons for the upcoming season. Other than that nothing more than we already knew.

Im still trying to finish reading Phil Steele's magazine, its got alot of pages and small print. Other than the advertisments selling themselves as the most accurate magazine in the world, its a pretty good read.

Just picked up the Yahoo! Sports preseason magazine. The regional cover (midwest) has Crick with Pryor and John Clay (see above). Lots of love for Crick this year... so far he's on five of five regional covers.

Athlon Sports just makes stuff up. I think it's a joke magazine that somehow gets taken seriously.

im kinda surprised that k state was posted below colorado and ku and iowa state! i know they suck but seriously! idk iho i think they will surprise alot of people and end up 2nd or 3rd in the north behind NU and maybe mizzou

I was thinking the same thing. do people forget that they almost won the north, in snyders first year? I think K-State will do better than people think.
