You know, I was in Holdrege, NE several times...and when the people there say, "back east" they mean Lincoln or Omaha. I kid you not! :rollin

So, "back east" is all a matter of perception...east means anything east of where you're at...

I grew up in Holdrege, but now consider it "Back East" (Although I don't remember thinking Omaha was ever a part of Nebraska) <_<

'Course I keep correcting my Wife that her hometown of Columbus, OH is in the "Mid East"..(She seems to think it's in the midwest).
