Press Conference: Pelini and Solich

In Pelinis press conference today he frequently credited Solich for his opportunities in college football. I know this is far fetched but do you think there is any chance of Solich being brought in as a part of Nebraska football again or do you think Pelini has any thoughts of this? Assistant coach or maybe AD?

It's not if Bo wants to bring him back, it's if Solich WOULD come back, and I don't think he would...

 
I bet he would thoe after seeing what callahan did or should i say made us a laughing stock of college football for the last 4 years and watching pplz clown on us now answer me this thoe ?? Do you think we would have beat USC if solich was the coach??? I believe so becuzz USC dont have a D 2 stop the option game

The formula to stop an option game is speed to string the option out to the sideline. USC has speed. There is a reason that the triple option does not work much anymore and it's because defenses are recruited to have speed. An option here and there is fine because a D usually doesn't game plan for it but an offense run strictly on the triple offense is a recipe for disaster. So no, I don't think Solich would have beaten USC...
