Is it just me, or is Pelini using the phrases "good football players" and "compete" a little too much?

I like the fact that he didnt single any one player out and talked about the TEAM... and I also think he handles the press better than BC ever did.Is it just me, or is Pelini using the phrases "good football players" and "compete" a little too much?

No offense, but I really don't give a rats a$$ how he performs in a press conference. I care about how him and the team perform on the field.

I liked how he talked about how he didn't care what the recruiting services said and his staff made their own opinions about kids. I think that's important. If you get guys that want to play under you and fit what you're trying to do, it can make their "stars" fairly irrelevant.

He did have on a Nebraska polo though for those that give a crap. As long as he coaches well, and doesn't say "ya know" every other sentence I will be happy.

how about "flustered" never figured that one out...... Also how many pressers has Bo done in his life? He will get better......

If you watch any interviews with athletes at all you will find that they say "ya know" or some other phrase every other sentence. They also talk way too fast. Being an interviewee is an art and most of them don't have the skill required to do it well and with polish. Ozzie was never a good interview, that's why the ESPN jerls never liked him. Bo will get better with time.
