Preview of december?

Longhorn Royalty

Three-Star Recruit
So what do you think are the chances that these two teams will meet again in the Big 12 championship? Texas could probably lose two more and still win the south and nebraska doesnt have to worry about mizzou anymore after seeing mizzou's pitiful performance against the Faggies. Id say that both teams are pretty much a deadlock.

At this point, it looks pretty probable IMO.
I think it would be good for the conference if you guys could get to the big 12 championship this year. With OU down and out for now we need our other powerhouse program to get up. The big 12 is the butt of all jokes this year. Even though everyone seems to forget since 2000 5 big 12 teams have been in the nc game.

I say there is a good chance at the two meeting again. Nebraskas players are already looking at if they beat Texas takeing what beat them and working on that and improving it if not takeing what worked the best and improving that so they can win in the Big 12 Champ. Game. This weekend will be a good game to tell where both teams are at now after both haveing losses to now Top 3 Ranked teams(Ohio St. 1st and USC 2nd or 3rd depending on the poll) and where they stand for a BCS game.

Texas A & M looks to be a decent team this year. Mizzou shot themselves in the foot and coulda shoulda won the game. Mizzou could still challenge Nebraska for the North title. I have a feeling that the Mizzou - Nebraska game will determine the victor of the North. Texas is in...no doubt. It would take a complete collapse for them to lose the South. So here's hoping that tomorrows game in the first of two for these teams this year :cheers

I honestly don't feel there is any power house team anywhere out there. Yes Ohio St, but there not dominating, but a very good team.

I dont think there is a true jauggernaut this year either. Texas and USC from last year would whip this ohio state team by three touchdowns easily.

:yeah

I don't know about three touchdowns, but the 2005-6 Texas and USC teams would definitely overmatch any college football team this year. There is always a Big Ten media favorite. Look at Michigan last year. They continuely were ranked high despite their four losses (before the Alamo Bowl). Even T. Smith has become somewhat of a media darling this year - but, there is no way he compares to V. Young or M. Leinart. I never have understand this fascination with Big Ten schools.

I dont understand it either. I mean smith is ok but he isnt as good as vince leinart or even brady quinn. It makes me mad that he has gotten vince young status already and he hasnt done anythinig yet. I really hope michigan beats them.

I agree 100%. I don't think there will be an undefeated team in the top 10 this year. I hope Michigan sticks it to OSU b/c I am very tired of hearing how "good" the Buckeyes are. I cannot stand the Little 11!!!!

Me too I think by the end of the year Texas will be good enough to beat them. And after bowl season tosu will have a loss. As soon as they play a team with great offensive weapons who arent afraid to use them (michigan) or a crazy fast hard hitting d (any sec team in the nc game) you can say goodbye to the bucknuts.

My prediction is A) this is a preview to the upcoming Big 12 Championship game. The lose of tomorrow's game wins the Big 12 Championship game. B) Michigan beats Ohio St and plays a 1 loss team for the National Championship. And I'm guessing that team will be the Auburn Tigers. USC will lose, West Virginia will probalby lose to a very good Pitt where Palko is on fire). And Louisville will get no love from the poll voters because of their weak schedule.
