He did have a choice in the matter. That was part of the deal with his release from the Broncos.

While Jacksonville was the most sensible choice (in terms of his chances to play QB), he chose the biggest market with the most overzealous media for obvious reasons.

Just a question out of curiosity posed on a Husker football forum... about a former Husker football player... He states his high school instead of where he went to college. Most people are proud to name their university.
