Punt Returner?

See I think Nunn was the better returner last year. He constantly had the bigger returns, including that one in the opener. You could always count on a 10-15 yard return with Grix.

The thing about Nunn that says to me he isn't "The" guy for the job is that he doesn't exactly have that good burst of accelleration that will get him out of trouble in traffic.

I want to see if LJ has that sort of acceleration. I think him and Lucky could be an interesting tandom, maybe even put them back there at the same time. Reverses or fake reverses could throw teams off, especially with the speed both of them have.

I would love to see Leon Jackson back there returning

punts and kickoffs. I also agree what rawhide said a

incoming freshman that is not going to redshirt.

i think this was mentioned earlier, but the only thing with Nunn is he needs to learn a little better ball protection i almost had a heart attack during the maine game when he dived for the endzone

I agree that we need a solid player back there. Hopefully fall practice will sort out everything and we will have some exciting returns for big gains and scores.

As long as it's sorted out before the 'SC game, the Huskers will be fine. Nunn is good, but needs to work on security. Grixby has ball security, but lacks that huge punt return. I think if Nunn improves, he'll be the guy, and maybe they can get Leon in on the action, because he needs to see the field with hi speed.

Leon jackson and kenny wilson would be a great duo. they both have the speed to get down the field quickly but i think jackson is more of slasher type and is any gets in the way of wilson he could probably just run'em over.

Mark my word....Titus Brothers name will be called a lot this year, he ran one back in the spring game im sure he will be looked at very hard in the fall.

That kick return for the td was nice. He has a lot of speed as shown in the kick return where he outran everybody. Does he have good cutting ability.

Praise all NU has options. Wilson, Nunn, Brothers should get solid looks. Speed + hands = results.

I wouldnt count Grixby out just yet. He was very consistent last year, and if he provides a spark on special teams, he needs to used...no matter the risk (ex. Charles Woodson, Reggie Bush). I would like to see what Leon Jackson or Kenny Wilson could do though. If not on punt return, for sure on kickoff returns.
