I guess the moral of the story here is that we have to get used to winning very ugly and just enjoy watching our Blackshirts dominate and keep us in games. I just feel bad for our defense because their stats are jeopardized by the horrible play of our offense.

Northwestern scored all over Maryland today.  Our defense holds them.  I think the Defense will get us more wins.

200 yards for Purdue today.  They score on our mistakes, we win on theirs.

Yes, HH is not a great D1 quarterback, but the team wins when he plays. Three original starters and HH has gone 5-1.

One could argue the same for Haarberg. He looks less decisive while running and opens himself up to punishing tackles far too often. I’m glad we have found the deep ball the past few weeks because he hasn’t been a very reliable runner. 
 

I believe we will need Sims again this year (whether due to injuries, poor play, etc.) so hopefully he stays focused to be ready when his number is called.
