Purdue game toll cost

I been reading up on travel to the purdue game this week and heard there is a toll cost for illinois and indiana. Does anyone how much i should expect to pay in toll cost for this trip

I am not sure about Illinois/Indiana, but most states have gotten rid of the toll stands where you throw in a few quarters to pay your toll. They will most likely take a picture of your license plate and then send you a bill from the information on your registration.

Depending on which way you travel through Illinois you can make it across the state without paying for a toll. I-88 has a toll where I-80 doesn't. Not sure about Indiana though.

You can easily get to the Purdue game without tolls. Just stay away from the Chicago and northern Indiana area. Which....should be easy. If you're getting there from Nebraska, simply go to the quad cities and take I - 74.

Illinois has booths- just like Florida

Depends on the length of drive, Ive paid anywhere from 1.00- 12.00 when it was all added up- doesnt help you

Carry small bills and change

There are no tolls on I-80 until Indiana. There is absolutely no reason to be on I-80 in Indiana if you are coming from Nebraska and going to the Purdue game. Even if you are, it is an extremely short time.

IF, you find yourself on I-80 in Indiana for a long time.....stop, let someone who isn't drinking drive.

If you take I-88, the tolls are ridiculously expensive (I go to school in Chicago but I live in Nebraska so I've made that drive many times). I-88 alone will cost you $10 one way. Avoid it if you can. As for the Indiana tolls, I have no clue. Sorry.

You guys pay for them? When we went to NW last year there were tolls everywhere! I drove straight through them and didn't hear a thing to this day. I know they take a picture of your plates if you go through the toll without to pass and mail you the bill if you don't take care of it online, but I never got anything. This year I put the reflection license protector over my plates so it will be a blurred photo. No way we are paying tolls.

If youre coming to the quad cities, stop and say hi!
