This spring, Nebraska assistant football coach John Papuchis added recruiting coordinator to his duties as defensive line coach and special teams coordinator. This year, the Nebraska coaching staff is facing the challenge of filling a small recruiting class and scrambling to recruit quarterbacks after injuries ended Kody Spano’s career and Cody Green transferred this spring. Huskers Illustrated caught up with Papuchis this week to see how he was handling his new duties and how the staff is approaching this class.
