QB attitudes are different

He was kind of jerked around a little bit at ASU. The coached named him the started during fall ball then the backup had a meeting with the coach and in a couple of days Keller was on second string and the backup was named starter. Keller's parents then made a trip to ASU and meet with the coach and after the meeting, Keller was given his release from the program and began a search for a different school. He ended up choicing Nebraska over Oklahoma. At least, that is how I remember it. Someone else may have some more details or can correct me if I have anything wrong.
Both QB's had very good (similar) stats last season..Carpenter started the "easier half" of the season after Keller hurt his hand while making a tackle of a guy who intercepted one of his passes (If I remember right).

I think it was two games before ASU played USC..He tried to play with the injury and was less effective those two games (See 5 ints vs. USC).

It's still pretty hard to get any concrete answers out here in the Valley (ASU).

here's a web page with the "Official" version:

Some ASU bbs site I ran across stated that Keller may have fudged on some Summer workout cards.

But how much can you believe?

Either way..I'm excited for next season.

Slight revision: Keller's parents were in town (Tempe) to celebrate with Keller being named starter. They were both on their way out of town when they got called that they had to go back and meet with the coach right away. Fast forward: ASU had a suck season, coach got fired and we have a great QB for next year.

I don't think it will work against us too much/bad. He is only here for a year so if a WR does not like the way he is spoken to, then he just has to ride it out for a year until Keller is gone.

If a WR drops an easy pass, he should get scolded, IMO. You are getting a scholarship to catch the f-ing ball, so do it!!!!
That sums it up.

Everybody is going top see what it is like to have an NFL style quarterback on our team next year. He is going to be able to make throws that, God bless him, Taylor could not make , especially in the title game. If we can beat SC at home, we will be in the Nat. title hunt.

I hope he gets up in Hardy's face if he drops a perfectly thrown ball.
