Wouldn't worry about Butler being his "handler" in this case. Bell is a great kid, comes from a very good family that has lots of experience in college & pro football. The family will be taking the lead in his recruiting, you won't see the same this as what we've seen from Bryce Brown.

The feeling I get from the way the team responds to Bo, winning helps recruiting and opens a lot more doors. It won't be long before OKL and Texas start worrying about, is Neb offering this kid. Even Texas, doesn't get all the good kids in state.

Bishop Carroll's (Wichita, Kan.) Blake Bell is up to 15 offers, with the latest coming from Oklahoma. However, Colorado State has to be the team to beat here. His father, Mark Bell, and his uncle, Mike Bell, played at Colorado State before moving on to lengthy NFL careers. But schools such as Oklahoma, Georgia, Miami, Nebraska and Missouri will be tempting. Notre Dame could offer soon.

From what I have heard from people in touch with Blake's parents, we are tied with OU for the lead. KU, ND and Georgia round out his current top 5. Apparently, both his parents (and Blake) love NU and everything they said about the program and coaches was positive. Blake will be at our spring game.

Location is a factor to Blake. However, that being said, they will be taking several road trips during this off-season to the southern schools that he has offers to.

We have a serious chance here.
