It's a bummer to miss out on this guy, but with the report of him and his father being tough to deal with, maybe worse things could happen? I'm not trying to spin this, just trusting DL to find another guy.

Nebraska will be fine if he chooses elsewhere. Do trust Langsdorf's evaluation ability.
Also, what's being reported is that a decision is expected very soon. Hence the slew of sudden UW CBs.

9 CBs for Washington today but he doesn't have an offer yet.

I would guess his lack of a time-frame before was due to waiting to see if he got a Washington offer and when he (unexpectedly) gets that offer he may commit right away.
