Maybe UGA does have him locked up at this point, but odd to me how a repeat national championship program has former players tweeting about a recruit like this. Seems like desperation hard sales pitch rather than a close.

They just won again with a walk-on QB, why go nuts over a QB when they’ve proven it’s not about a highly touted QB recruit.

Good for him, can't blame him at all. I hope that he has a great collegiate career. As others have said, and based on hopping between high schools, could be a transfer candidate in the future. Still impressed that our new staff made this even a possibility.

There is no mutual interest. At least fresh off his commitment. The really only tangible prospect is the QB from Pinson, Alabama. Kamari McClellan. I think they made a pass on the South Carolina QB commit but the interest is low.
