QB Garret Green

i always felt we were wasting our time trying to get this guy.....still think we should have been looking at McElroy.....but guess coaches didn't see it in the kid........

I guess they had a get Green or don't get anyone philosophy????????????????

Green is waisting his time if he goes to SC. He will be merely a spectator.

SC is selling him on the fact that anywhere he goes he will have to compete. At USC they only have Sanchez and Booty at the QB position, really.

The thing about Green is that he isn't afraid in the least to compete with anyone. I like that about him.

He's one of those guys you can't help but to root for.

hello, one thing that I believe that the NU coaches like, & other coaches for the matter is that w/ his speed if it does not work out at qb he can be switched to a position where his speed can be utilized more, such as using him as a receiver or def back - ala newcombe or crouch, who both came as qb's, yet both played for a 1/2 of a yr, or more as a receiver under solich - it was/is their versatility that was/is so intriguing, useful, & made/makes it difficult for a coach not to play them regardless of the school, or depth at a position

for whatever school grabs him they will be getting a great student-athlete w/ the intellect to grasp any scheme offensively or defensively
