QB Jett Thomalla [Alabama Commit]

We didn't want him. Honestly we are stacked in the qb room with the 2 incoming players. And, according to some, he is high maintenance.
His Dad is...I know that for a fact because we used to coach together.

The kid is probably great. But that team is so stacked that it is like they are playing vs 5th graders out there, you can't get anything from game film.

Mmmmmm....doesn't change much with me, other than simply numbers. Out of TJ and Trae....he was going to be third man out.
I agree it hurts more so from a depth perspective. But Trae still has a ways to get here unless he reclassifies. But taking a four star QB (Jett) that has a likely higher ceiling would've been a nice piece to have over likely nobody.

True. But, even without Dayton, we still don't really know if we would have ended up with Jett. Maybe we would have....but maybe not.

I think there is a good chance. We would've ended up with someone though. And given the staffs last 3 QBs outside of Dayton have been Dylan, Lateef, & Trae I feel rather confident that it would've been someone better than Dayton.

Without Dayton, we are still 3 deep with two 4 star backups for 2026. As long as one of them doesn't transfer...
