Agreed. Pretty sure sock puppet created an account and is having a repeat offense. I'm sure huskerpowerhour will be experiencing the sock effect in the near future.

 
Things will become a little clearer come Thursday when Langsford can reach out to this kid and make his pitch. I think planting the idea of manning having one of his best years in addition to having matt moore in the nfl are also approaches this staff should take.

 
From my understanding, it doesn't have to do with Beck as a coach, but with Beck as a person. Allegedly, there was a very bad interaction between Joe, his dad, and Beck when Joe took a UOV to Nebraska before he committed to Ohio State.

I didn't see this specifically spelled out in this thread so I thought I should ask just so I know who this is.

Is his Dad Jimmie Burrow who played for Nebraska in 1976 and is now Ohio Bobcat's DC and his brothers are Jamie and Dan who both also played for Nebraska?

If that's true, then the story of how our coaching staff treated them ( if true) is just not acceptable and I hope at least this coaching staff mends that bridge even if he ends up not coming here.

Even if he doesn't come to Nebraska, I truly truly hope that they mend that bridge some and show him that Nebraska love......he deserves far more then he ever got from the old staff

If, as you say it's accurate. let's just think bout this for minute. You have an ex player who is a Dad of two ex players and is now a DC of another division one school walk in with his own son and say.."Hey, we would like to maybe have him play here" and you don't f*ing give him the time of day?

Unbelievable.

I don't care if the kid has absolutely no chance of ever playing at Nebraska, you still talk and show them some interest and be respectful.

Word on the street is that if he visits somewhere else tOSU will pull his offer. Luckily for us he has come to NU a bazillion times and his family including his brother that lives in Nebraska want him to be N.

 
Tim Beck might do more recruiting good for Nebraska at OSU than he did while he actually coached here. Would love to see OSU's offense take a step back the next couple years and steal a couple from Meyer
