QB Lyle Moevao

I was just on the OSU rivals site, and there are only about 15 people on there right now.  They have something about Moevao on 5/29 and about 4 responses, but nothing on the free board about him.
I'm guessing if the poll is 260-0, they couldn't even cut that in half because it's doubtful they have that many fans that care about their FB program.
Now now...I am sure some care about their football program at Or St dont go getting rabid fans signing up and disputing you like I did when I made comments about that fine Grizzly program. :rollin

I do think this guy will be a nice immediate fill to the depth needed at our QB position.
Yes he will add needed depth and could be a heck of a sleeper player. As stated by others and in the Journal Star he will likely redshirt for the fall of 2006 but will be here learning the system.

If we weren't already saying "Freeman who?".... :thumbs
If I knew who you were talking about, I'd chime in.

I believe that would be Gordon Freeman from STEAM fame. :horns2 :cheers

It's now 572 - 3

he's a little small, isn't he?
well im sure this wont be the first time you have heard this.... "its not the size that counts"

:box

i thought that too, especially for these coaches preferences, but after seeing the game film he isnt as short as i had thought, and he can play some ball. Thats what it really comes down to. I dont like the guy that much, but you have heard of Doug Flutie, he was 5'9"....5'10" in cleats, plenty of other short QBs in the past. The other thing about playing QB, most the times you arent trying to look over the big linemen because there are passing lanes you are looking down. of course there are times, and many times a bigger QB is preferred, but being 6' isnt to terribly short.

I don't think he is Starting Material but definately good enough to add depth and challenge Beck.

He would also give the future depth needed to Red shirt a Blue Chip QB out of H.S. in another year.

If he comes I think he redshirts. He nneds at least a year to understand the offense just like the other QB's did.

man, i hope we haven't freaked the poor kid out.

huskernation pretty much dogpiled on that board. i don't think they've EVER seen surge like that.

656-4, this is ridiculous

From what I have heard he is currently in Lincoln. He said he is going to visit both schools before he makes his decision. I can't really see him going to OSU, I kinda doubt that he will even end up visiting. I really would like this kid end up at Nebraska. Everyone was all dejected when Lee chose LSU, then the coaches find Lyle. He seems like a diamond in the rough like Taylor. The good lord doesn't close a door without opening a window. Nebraska, "The Good Life".

Dude, football's the only thing I have.......I'm a loser.
That's true, since you're obviously a Cubs fan ;)
and you're a Broncos fan.....just call me Jake Plummer.
Ow! being 31 years old, at least I can say I saw the Broncos take a few titles...Was film even invented when the Cubs did it?

Nice zing though :thumbs

Just call me 'Bartman'.
