QB Patrick Witt

We will find out more about him this upcoming season in Texas. Hopefully he puts up big numbers and becomes a blue chip type player. It would be nice if we had a Husker fan who lives near his high school and who could give us updates for this upcoming season. Anybody?

Maybe someone could move down to Texas, and all the expenses (room and board) would be paid for by the administrators on this board. What a great idea. So let's get someone to move there and ... NEVER MIND.

;) :clap

I can't wait for this guy to show what he really has in a passing offense. He was in an offense where he barely threw the ball, and is a 3 star. Can't wait to see him get a chance to throw the ball around a little bit!

I know his ratings with go up a lot once he is playing in this passing O. I'm worried that he will get more offers and maybe change his mind. Comments??

it could happen. Witt has been quoted as saying he is 100 percent solid, but we know where that got us in the last recruiting cycle. I think he is smart enough to realize he could be a stud at NEBRASKA. Hopefully the pressure wont scare him away.

I think that is a reason that we need to keep recruiting quarterbacks or at least stay in touch with them throughout the season.

Hopefully, most of us fans have learned our lesson not to pile hype on an unproven prospect and just be glad if he tries his best and wants to be a Husker. That shouldn't be too much pressure for anybody.

on jimmy clausen, "Lightning-quick release is just one of the things that makes this Clausen special."

oh i thought it was the fact that he was cloned from an ostrich. the dude looks like a bird.

Maybe Cally and Co didnt think that Simms would be a great fit into the system, or figured that he would want PT now like a couple other QB's that were here before or committed here.

I am all for a freshman QB starting if he is good enough, but with this system a QB needs at least a year to get used to the playbook and speed of the game

I'm about 30-40 minutes from Wylie, but that first game is in Waco (half way to Austin, hour and a half drive so for get that). If I do catch a game this season from the stands I'll let y'all know what is up. It will be tough to do, being that they games are on Friday nights. :thumbs
