We were able to hang in this game because we were able to answer their scores quickly.. and to do that keller made a lot of downfield passes. Taylor was a master of the short-controlled passing game, I don't think he would have fared well in a shoot-out like this.

Keller is quite a bit better than Taylor. May not know the system as well but he is going to get better and better this year........and he'll need to. We're gonna have to score 100 points to win some of our upcoming games with this defense.

I don't believe Taylor in his first year would have won the game. Remember 7-6 against Pitt? As a second year QB it might have been iffy because Keller does make some passes that Taylor couldn't.

As a gunslinger Keller earned his star with today's performance. There's a new sheriff in town and it will be up to him to outshoot the opposing teams because the D is holding up their end like Porky Pig on a donkey.
