QB Quinton Flowers [South Florida - Signed LOI]

With Darlington's football future questionable I'd love to get a good qb/athlete in this class. Looks like somebody who'd have an impact for us one way or another.

 
I realy like this kid. When he does throw, he seems to have a strong arm. His mobility is is alot like JT's coming out of HS in 2010.

I really hope he begins considering NEB. Slated to visit during the Southern Miss game!?

Count me as excited for this guy.

 
On the first video the announcer said he likes him because he is a winner, and that what he does you cant teach or coach he just has IT..Did say he has an unorthodox throwing motion. He kind of reminds me of that QB that came in 2nd string as a true freshman for Southern Miss and we could not stop the guy. Any one remember his name and if he is starting for them this year? He was highly recruited , but everyone thought he was going to play baseball, but then decided to play football at the last second.

edit.. It was Anthony Alford, he had 89 yards rushing against us, but had a 44% passing percentage the rest of the season and averaged 4 yards a carry through the season. The Jays gave him a 750.,000 signing bonus them let him play football for S.Miss. Also was arrested for assault and had a gun on him, and was kicked off the team. Sounds like another waste of a gifted athlete.

His tape is "sped up." Not a chance he's as fast the the first film showed. If you watch the people on the sideline they are also moving very fast for people who are leisurely watching a game.

ADS hit it on the head though. Jamal Turner type elusiveness.

 
Visiting this weekend. Could end up being our QB for the class now after the Darlington situation transpired. Judging by his highlights, the kid has everything you could want in a dual-threat qb. I would love for him to be a husker!

Interesting takes on this kid. When I first watched the videos I thought, wow, hope he plays baseball too, throws like on outfielder. After watching both videos I believe to closest comparison to a current player is Braxton Miller. Not as tall, only 6' but same kind of throwing motion. Needs work. And he looks bigger than 203

 
This guy should be a huge priority for us. Really awesome we are getting him here for a visit and it is time to close.
