now what's the deal with us after Taylor??? if Ganz and good?? BC didn't play him last year in the K-satate game or Colorado? and who is after him?? I'm really getting scared here

 
Ganz didn't do too bad against the number 1 D in the spring game. Got some quick feet and can move around if he has to. He is no ZT, but I think he is "OK". :lol:

 
IMO Ganz is tons better than Davis. The only look we have on Davis is that Texas Tech game that we don't want to remember.

 
He had played in a style of offense that was the same as the Huskers. He had some big games in juco, but wasn't highly rated.

 
Joe Ganz is a RS Soph for christ's sake, he has another year to learn the offense, he will be getting most of the reps behind ZT this year in practice and will get alot of playing time during the games this season, unless Callahan keeps ZT in to pad his stats, to improve his draft status and make a certian mother eat some crow.

Joe was good enough to earn a scholarship to a Div 1 school, and was recruited by Callahan and Co.

Lets give him a chance and see what he can do.

Witt is projected her in Jan. and I bet the go after the QB from Butler CC also.

 
This really brings up a lot of talk and thinking after Beck leaving. What does everyone think about Witt coming in as a freshman? Can he push for the starting job? He has ideal size obviously and has the arm...so we will see.

 
Ganz doesnt have a cannon for an arm. Didnt do too bad against the #1 Defense in the spring game is putting it mildly. Look for Callahan to clone Zac Taylor. lol. Nah we will search the juco's far and wide for a mature QB. Plus with Witt coming in the spring, all is not lost. Witt's value and importance just multiplied by a factor of 50.

 
I'm not too worried. When Taylor came in, no one really knew anything about him but Callahan seen something in him we apparently didn't. I think Cali and Co. see something in Ganz we may be missing. Lets wait and see how Ganz does this year. He may surprise us all :thumbs

 
come on guys......we can say this when we need to, but the fact is you need a better than "average" qb to run the WCO....there is no denying that......maybe Ganz can fit pretty well.....but we need to keep goiing after the kids that fit the system.
