QB sit

I think he's pretty much shown his true colors now for all coaches to see. I can't see any coach worth a damn putting him on their team!!!! ;)

I wont even respond to a couple of the assinine comments made earlier. Ganz will step up when needed. Zach Taylor now has one more critic to prove wrong and becks mommie will eat crow before seasons end.

:yeah Its hard to believe how some fans think that losing a backup quarterback is going to ruin the season. I know people will start to think about NEXT year but that is just it. We have over a year to solve NEXT years quarterback problem. We already have a commit in Patrick Witt that sounds like a pretty good quarterback. We also have two guys on the current squad that have yet really had any chance to prove anything (not counted Beau's showing against Tech). Plus we have a year to bring in a top notch recruit either in high school or JUCO to play for us NEXT year. We will be fine. GO HUSKERS!!!!! :restore

ok guys i would just love to see another great JC QB or atleast a 4 star come in this year it would just make me feel better... we need to keep recuiting good QB's to keep this thing rolling in the right direction -- my fear is we will have all the players to run this offense minus a QB after ZT i would hate to see this happen

i know a lot of people are upset with Beck leaving the program. Of course it is upsetting when damned near everybody thought Beck was our golden goose at QB and he leaves. A lot of people are nervous, but I am not. This is the type of situation where you find out who's got the stones and who doesnt. Its these situations where heroes are made. Let me know when Beck's testicles drop, then maybe he will man up and realize that outside of Highschool, you may actually have to earn respect and earn your playing time.

There is more to the QB position than just being able to throw the pigskin through walls. There was a reason Ganz was seeing more looks, despite the difference in arm strength between Beck and Ganz. If Ganz and Davis are true competitors, they will see this as a challenge, and hopefully, rise up and answer the call. :boxosoap

The Beck thing is decided and it's time to move on and kick USC's a$$, but I still can't get too excited about losing a young QB that Miami, Florida and FSU wanted badly. I hope the double bummer of Beck and Bowman isn't an omen for the season.

I love Big Red and have hung in there through the bad times so don't give me any crap about my commitment. Heck, I was digesting turkey dinners at Memorial Stadium watching Johnny the Jet torch the OU Sooners before most of you pooped your first diaper.

It's easy to say Beck's a pu&&y and mama's boy. It's tough to win National Championships without stud quarterbacks.

Isn't that the goal -- to challenge for championships year in, year out?

Ganz didn't do too bad against the number 1 D in the spring game. Got some quick feet and can move around if he has to. He is no ZT, but I think he is "OK".
LMAO!   "OK" :cheers

10th year senior  :rollin
Don't laugh...look at Chris Winkie (or whatever) at FSU.
He was almost 30 when he graduated. Talk about a 10th year senior. Reminds me of Tommy Boy, "it takes a lot of people seven years to graduate from college. I know they're called doctors."
