QBs commit early, so won't you want one of the two remaining OV spots, even if it is during the summer? My guess is that Michael Johnson Jr is #1 on Nebraska's board and Gipson is #2. That could explain the position Nebraska is taking.

As a QB or just overall ATH recruit? I guess both would be developmental guys at the QB position, so may you just look at their upside and go with that?  :dunno

Idk, the interest in McCaffrey was first I guess is my initial thought.

I wish we would take Johnson and McCaffrey and call it a day. Move the 2nd best QB in a year or so to a different position and let’s go.

Could be part of the reason he isn't particularly highly-rated.

Sucks that they changed when you can take OV's but didn't reset the clock as to when your allotment of OV's starts. It's possible we're slow-playing here anyway but it would  be nice to have all our options open.
