QB Tua Tagovailoa [Alabama - Signed LOI]

To which school will Tagovailoa commit?

But what? Alabama runs a pro-style offense. Why did they recruit a great Dual Threat QB, a true athlete? What in the wide world of sports is Saban doing?

Would this be like us signing Tate Martell?!?!

lolololol

I suppose it would be the same if Bama took Tua's commitment and then went out a couple of weeks later and offered another QB.

Just guessing here but I don't think Saban gives a rats-a$$ about offering another QB...if he thinks it will make Bama better I am pretty sure he will do it. Hell I could see him offering another QB right in front of Tua.

Like we did last year with POB and Wilson, but opposite order. Took POB and then went and got a dual threat Qb.

Its obvious that he's trying to get some mobility at his QB position. He's been toasted in the past by mobile QBs.

Let's see if he does. Right now he hasn't. And history has shown that he doesn't often take 2 QB's in one class. He did it twice. One year it was a 3 star and a 4 star and the other year was a 3 star and an unrated.

I think the way to go for most teams is to get 1 QB each year.

Pretty sure Wilson committed first.

If 247 can be trusted, it shows that Wilson and O'Brien were offered on the same day. 4-21-15

Wilson committed on 5-5-15. Then O'Brien on 5-21-15.

This is not the same as Wilson committing(and staying committed/enrolling early) and then offering another QB like some are suggesting with Gebbia and Martell.

Wilson DID commit first.

Interesting get for Bama. Especially given they run a power run offense and typically utilize big, strong pocket passers. A 6'1", 185 pounder isn't exactly their regular template.
