If I was to buy a ticket to the texas vs nebraska game In the student section, Could anyone on here help me get it validated as I am not a UNL student? Also has anyone ever attended a game in the student section? what should i expect sitting there?

You can get it validated at the ticket office for the differnace in price between public and student ticket. Expect to stand the entire game.

Ok any idea what the difference in price is? And if I need a student id ect.? and how early i need to be there to the gate and ticket office? Also How soon can i validate the ticket?

It's gonna cost $64 to validate the ticket. IDK about the student ID part, call the ticket office and ask. You can validate the ticket anytime during the week of the Texas game, or on gameday.

Once you have a student ticket validated, anyone can use it.

when I go I usually sit in the student section. You'll have to stand the entire game and it will be on the benches not the cement. They get a little wobbly sometimes. However if you like to sit for football games get about 30 years older and put your ear plugs in and sit in west stadium....but thats if you like a quiet boring game.

I just bought my Texas game ticket from a student on craigslist last weekend. I was told it would cost me $60 to validate. I'm a lot oldier than the typical college student, but not by much. I'm 29 and i'll still be just as hostile and loud.

On game day tickets can be validated with cash only beginning four (4) hours prior to kick-off at the Ticket Office outdoor windows facing east on Stadium Drive. A student football ticket can be validated by paying the difference between the student price and the public price. Public Texas tickets run $85 and students are all $21 so you would pay $64 to validate. On game day, anyone can validate a student ticket, with or without the student ticket owner present. I have and East Stadium Ticket for sale for $350. Let me know.

ok sounds good thank you for all the input. And From what i,m reading ANyone can validate them? with or without the student ID Tag?

It will cost $64 to validate your ticket

Seriously, where are you homers getting these other numbers.

In conference games are $65 face. Student tickets Cost 21. The difference is 44. Non conference games cost $55 and therefore cost $34 to validate. However, the university is charging $85 for the Texas game. So expect to pay $64 smackaroos.

if you want a good seat (to stand on, cause students understand seats are for standing on to see better, not for sitting. which is the way i liked it while i was there) you will need to be there EARLY. i saw students lined up an hour before gates openned for western kentucky. i was a student for the usc game and i think the line started about 6 six hours before opening. also, south stadium lines up sooner than east stadium, so keep that in mind depending on where your ticket is
