Question for all the Cubs fans

First off, I am not a fan of any MLB team. I don't watch any of the games (unless it's in person), including the World Series.

My question is: How/why are you a Cubs fan?

I don't mean it as a bad thing, just curious since I'm pretty sure not all of you are from Chicago or anything. I just find it interesting that there are so many Cubs fans out there.

I am a cubs fan from my grandpa. He was the biggest cubs fan ever. I always used to go to my grandparents house when I was little and watch the games almost everyday. My grandparents and parents were all born and raised in Chicago so I basically got it from them.
