Remember that letter T.O. sent out to former players welcoming them "back home"?

The second page of that letter (Read by Julie Hagerty of "Airplane")

"There's no reason to become alarmed, and we hope you'll enjoy the rest of your flight. By the way, is there anyone on board who knows how to fly a plane?" (Or coach a Bowl?)

Think of how much fun these guys could have teaching the current Huskers what it all means to be a Nebraska Cornhusker...

It would give a whole new meaning to an otherwise meaningless Bowl game.

 
I've gotta tell you - if they brought in a slew of old players to "coach" the team in a bowl game, I would definitely watch that. I doubt seriously we'd win, but it sure would make an otherwise hum-drum bowl game worthy of national attention.

That would be a great storyline, and a lot of fun, win or lose.
