That was awesome.

I mean really. After four years the fact that thousands of fans and alumni who have given thier heart and soul to this program get to be subjected to that abortion is insulting.

After four years where is all this outstanding talent that is being recruited?

After four years where is the discipline to get the play off in time? Or to not have motion penatiles? Or to give a popcorn fart on defense? Or to adjust?

Well guess what NU? I'm done. I love Nebraska. I will treasure my degree and my time doing what I did, but until there is SWEEPING changes this school will get:

-zero donations to the athletic department (which there were many in the 6 years since I graduated)

-zero tickets bought to home events (at least one each year)

-zero support through alumni programs (while this won't matter to the two I belong to, it matters to me)

-zero time spent by me caring about this team when no one on this team does.

And for anyone who wants to ask who I'd rather have if Callahan and Cosgrove were canned, here's the frightening answer....I don't care. Right now, I'd rather have Bubbles the chimp and Bobo the autistic running this team. This team has regressed in four years of this reign of terror and I want my ******* program back.

Like I said . . . a real, sharp boycott is essential. Otherwise, the bread just keeps getting buttered in Lincoln; good ole' boys playing golf, having lunch, and exchanging cash and winks.

What a sad end to a once-great program. I hope that UNO goes to Division I soon.

guys, NOTHING is going to change, because Ped gave the extension. you could walk in front of his house with signs all day and night for a week and this jacka$$ would not be phased. let's place the blame where it should be, Pederson is the guy who made the bad business decision.

Until we see sweeping changes from Pedey on down and maybe higher nothing is going to change at Nebraska. I was going to buy season tickets next year off of ebay and finally get surgery done on my other shoulder and take the football season off from work, but I'll deal with the pain a little while longer.

naw, coaches in the NFL can see Callahan and Coz can't coach, they can see it.

Maybe a media boycott? No fans calling into the radio talkshows no one talking about it on tv just make it like Husker football doesn't exsist. No call to Big Red Wrapup and people to stop going to the BIG RED Breakfest. I doubt it could be pulled off but the Media would be going ape.

it will take all of these things and more to register the huge disappointment and even then, Ped will be oblvious to the crys from the masses. only those BIG supporters can "leverage dwon" on Ped and then only with so much effectiveness.

Now I want realistic answers not just what you want

What is it going to take to get Callahan or some of the staff fired?

I was thinking about this last night. If Callahan doesn't make a bowl which is very realistic IMO will he be fired. Will Pederson tell Callahan that it is him or his assistants like what Solich had to do. I have never really liked Callahan or believed that his system would work but I want what is best for the team.
