Raiola to transfer to Oregon?

Most of the time, or at least a lot of the time, the obsessiveness of our fanbase is more or less a good thing.

Then there are times like these.

welcome to the NIL era. don't count on anyone being around next year. i don't know if Dylan is leaving or not....but anyone can leave if they want to. after all he has done for Nebraska i sure hope he isn't but it is his right to do so if that is what he wants.

He's no Josh Allen, but he's 10x more mobile than Dylan. He has averaged about 300 rushing yards/season in the NFL.
I can see that. I just remembered him at Oregon moreso for his passing prowess than as a dual threat. I could still see Dylan improving on getting yards with his legs if he'd just take the modest gain when it's wide open and hit the dirt.

But of course we wouldn't want him being exposed to injury when he's on the run.....oh wait.

Well, sacks in the Pros are negative team passing yards. College it's individual rushing. Watching Herbert yes, he's the better runner than DR. But stats are not one-to-one either.

The real dicey part is if this rumor gets legs while other teams are circling around TJ Lateef, and NU will have to decide if they should make a preemptive promise to Lateef that he will start next season in order to hold at least one of them.

It would be terrifically exciting if Lateef finishes strong, but it would also make this scenario more plausible.

Other athletes have rebranded their social media feeds like Raiola, usually as leverage for contract negotiations, often staying put when they get a better deal. Weird to think that's happening in college football. The NFL is proving that the second most valuable player on any team is the back up quarterback, but in the NCAA being a back up makes you a sucker.
