Rank the Big 12 QBs

I have it

Ganz

Daniel

Harrell

Bradford

And

Hawkins

Freeman

Arnaud bottom 3.

Inevitably one or two of these guys won't make it through the season. And a few more will rise to the top. Ganz could have a terrific season an the national wind bags will still underrate him. I hope he stays healthy and lights it up, then hopefully he can go out the winner, that we know he is!

Freeman two spots ahead of Ganz? Where they watching the same game I was last year?

Ganz at 10. Sort of understandable due to the lack of playing time/national press.

But below Freeman and Hawkins? Youch.
I agree --- when I did the rankings I was surprised at just how good the stats of the B12 QB's were. While Ganz, I hope, is not really the #10 guy in the conference, well... if anyone is in the top 5 of this conference at this time you are awesome. There are so many outstanding QB's now. I had Ganz at #8, ahead of Hawkins but behind Freeman. We might not like Freeman, but he is solid as a player.

They're probably going on statistics alone and not factoring in that Ganz only played in 3 and one eighths games . . . "15 TD and 7 INT for the year? This guy BLOWS!!"

This is fun, there are so many good QBs in this league. Here are my rankings:

1. Bradford - Oklahoma

2. Harrell - Texas Tech

3. Daniel - Missouri

4. Robinson - Oklahoma State

5. McCoy - Texas

6. Reesing - Kansas

7. Ganz - US!

8. McGee - Texas A&M

9. Hawkins - Colorado

10. Szymanski - Baylor

11. Freeman - Kansas State

12. Arnaud - Iowa State

Reasoning:

Reesing and Ganz could have probably gone either way for me, but Reesing did take Kansas to their best season in school history so i'll give him some credit for that. Never heard of Szymanski, but I figured he had to be better than 11 and 12. And although Freeman is a constant choke against us, he's not always that ineffective. Arnaud, on the other hand, might have some troubles.

I actually had the QB from Texas Tech as the #1 QB in the Big 12.

1. Harrell - Texas Tech

2. Daniel - Mizzo

3. Reezing - Kansas

4. Bradford - OU

5. McCoy - Texas

6. Ganz - Nebraska

7. McGee - Texas A&M

8. Hawkins - Colorado

9. Robinson - OSU

10. Freeman - K-State

11. Szymanski - Baylor

12. Arnaud - Iowa State

You kool-aid Drinker :koolaid2: :rollin

I kind of "homered" on this one. I had:

1. Harrell - Texas Tech

2. Bradford - Oklahoma

3. Ganz - Nebraska

4. Daniel - Missouri

5. Reesing - Kansas

6. McCoy - Texas

7. McGee - Texas A&M

8. Robinson - Oklahoma State

9. Hawkins - Colorado

10. Freeman - Kansas State

11. Szymanski - Baylor

12. Arnaud - Iowa State

Realistically, Ganz should be around 5-10 because he's relatively unproven. The Big XII is loaded at QB this year!

KC sports radio talking head said this about the MU scrimmage:

The difference in level of play was night and day. The Tigers had better pray hard that Daniels does NOT get hurt. The spread offense is SO dependent on the play of the QB. When Nebraska won in 95 they plugged in 4 different QBs and it didn't make any difference.

Maybe a good discussion would be who has the best backup QB
