Rated with a VaTech win?

Well I was just looking at the polls and if you look and count the "others receiving votes" we're 34th on the AP poll and 28th on the Coaches Poll. So do you guys think with a win against Virginia Tech that it'll be enough to boost us into the top 25? Also do you think it will depend on the manner of the win? That is to say would we be ranked even if we just win by 1 point? Anyways, just bored and wondering what you guys think.

 
If we win chances of us ending up in the top 25 is a possibility but I would much rather be unranked when Mizzou comes into town. :box

 
could realistically be ranked even after this weekend if the right teams lose. and that is without even playing. if we beat Vtech we will be ranked anywhere from 25-20 depending on how we beat them. i personally see a score of something like 35-10 nebraska win and if it happens i see about a #21 ranking.

 
Va Tech needed to be undefeated and they are not. Beat a good Big 12 team and you will get in, and you get OU, Missouri, Kansas, Tech.

 
i'm not concerned about it. a win means we are improving, and thats all that matter. even if we did we would just get knocked right back out anyway

 
I would rather not be ranked after the VT game. An unranked Husker team vs. #6 or so Missouri would be awesome, especially when we put it to them.

 
Yeah, I would rather be unranked when Missouri comes to town...that way if they do happen to win, they can't claim they beat a ranked team...and if we win, then there will be no question that we should be ranked.

I don't want to be ranked for one week and then fall off the board again...that would just really bite.
