Rathman future Raiders coach?

1620 just reported there is speculation that when and if Lane Kiffin gets fired that Tom Rathman is one of the leading candidates to replace him.

Both good and bad news for Rathman.

Poor Rathman.

In another - who knows - two years? eleven weeks? five days? - he'll be the one fired and embroiled in a public disagreement with Al "Just Win, Baby" Davis.

The Raiders have some decent talent, at least on the offensive side of the ball, And I bet Rathman would LOVE to coach up Darren McFadden! The problem with the team as I see it is the players have no discipline whatsoever and the entire defense is a MESS!

Either way, I sure as heck wouldn't want that Head Coaching job right now, not with AL Davis ruining the show (No, I don't mean RUNNING :ahhhhhhhh )

 
What's pathetic, is that Kiffin has them improving and they still want to give him the axe. Al Davis is a crazy SOB. How long before the really eccentric stuff comes out, like pointing all his shoes north, because it keeps the goblins away.
