I mean ... I'm not trying to be a jerk. But he's not exactly screaming "D1 RB" to me. And 245 might be light.
Maybe a plan B in case Miles goes elsewhere
If you watch his film he's actually pretty agile and moves well. I'll take a heavy RB w/speed and good feet any day.
This kid has all the tools you want, he's just carrying bad weight and need a RS year for strength and conditioning to reshape his body. He's a soft 245 not a firm one. You put him next to Nathan Tilford and it's like Jelly and rock.

i think he is worth the offer. he's more Dan Alexander than abdullah and there's nothing wrong with that in my eyes

I feel like we could take a chance on him even if others have cooled if it's simply a muscle/weight issue. Could be a real diamond, think we are probably deep enough at RB he would be worth it no?

Exactly. He has the things you can't coach. Light on his feet, quick feet, etc. what he needs is a good weight training and conditioning year. He's soft and needs to muscle up... He could be really really good if he had some time to reshape.
